Reputation today is a representation generated by computational systems.

SUMMARY / PILLAR

What artificial intelligences say about companies.

When an investor, journalist, candidate, or customer asks an AI system to describe a company, the answer is already an interpreted synthesis. AI Reputation emerges in that space: between real identity, available evidence, and the narrative produced by LLMs.

01

The Aurelian Lab framework makes computational representation observable.

02

The Aurelian Intelligence suite measures visibility, citability, stakeholders, and ESG reputation.

03

Aurelian Watch monitors the evolution of AI language applied to reputation.

Chapter 01

The LLM is the new communication channel.

For decades corporate reputation was built in channels the company controlled or influenced: the website, the press, social media. Today there is a new channel that does not publish content but interprets it: when an executive, a journalist or a customer asks an LLM to describe a company, they receive a narrative already built by someone else. A brand is no longer only what it communicates: it is what AI decides to say on its behalf. Recognising the LLM as a channel — with its rules, filters and silences — is the first step to governing it.

Chapter 02

The process through which AI forms reputation.

LLMs do not invent reputation: they assemble it. They collect the traces a company leaves in public content — projects, partnerships, results, recognitions — and turn them into a coherent synthesis. The more coherent, verifiable and repeated over time the signals are, the more legible they become to the model; the more fragmented they are, the more the gap is filled by third-party sources or old news. Sport, health and wellness, for example, produce highly legible evidence: they involve people, places, impact and trust. Understanding this process means understanding where to act: not in the model, but in the evidence that feeds it.

Chapter 03

Events and stakeholder engagement: reputation is built live.

Reputation is not born only in content: it is born in encounters. Events, conferences, partnerships and stakeholder relationships produce the strongest evidence a company can generate — because they involve real people, real places, verifiable commitments. For LLMs these traces count double: they are coherent, repeated signals confirmed by third-party sources. Designing events and engagement programmes with awareness means feeding the AI channel with first-hand material: every well-told initiative becomes a building block of the representation models construct of the brand.

Chapter 04

Sustainability becomes an architecture of evidence.

Sustainability is the arena where this process is most advanced — and most risky. ESG statements alone are no longer enough: LLMs read reports, ratings, projects and recognitions, and draw a judgement that stakeholders receive without visiting the company website. AI Sustainability Reputation is built as an architecture of evidence: verifiable data, told coherently, distributed where models can read it. Those who govern it turn a communication obligation into a representation advantage.

Chapter 05

Symphonic reputation.

If AI assembles reputation from the traces a company leaves (content, events, evidence of sustainability), there is only one consequence: all these voices must play together. This is what we call symphonic reputation. Website, press, events, reviews and directories are the instruments of an orchestra that an AI assistant listens to and sums up in a single answer: when they are in tune the summary is faithful, when they are out of tune the assistant repeats the version that is easiest to find, not the truest one. That is why corporate communication is changing: today it requires knowing how LLMs describe companies, public bodies and institutions, and the ability to read, in what AI returns, where to act. It is not only about appearing or not: the AI lens brings out the fractures in reputation, invaluable insight for anyone working in internal and external communication and public relations. Corporate communication takes the conductor's role.

Chapter 06

The framework.

If reputation is a representation built by systems, a method is needed to observe and govern it. The Aurelian Lab AI Reputation Framework integrates corporate communication, stakeholder engagement, sustainability and analysis of LLM-generated perception: three dimensions to align (what the company does, what it communicates, what is perceived). Not a campaign, but continuous governance — from the board to institutional relations.

Chapter 07

The measurement suite.

A method only matters if it can be measured. The Aurelian Intelligence suite was built for this: Aurelian AEO Boost checks the brand's visibility and citability in AI systems; Aurelian StakeGraph crosses the site map with company stakeholders; Aurelian ESG Monitor measures AI Sustainability Reputation. The Aurelian Watch observatory completes the picture, following how AI language applied to reputation evolves. Three perspectives, one goal: seeing what AI returns about the company before its stakeholders do.
